"Pair Of Medici Vases With Cherubs, 1 Meter"
Large pair of Medici cast iron vases. Two winged cherubs face each other and meet their eyes. Decor with lion's muffles. The Medici vase was particularly appreciated during the Renaissance. Later, at Versailles, Jean Cornu was responsible for sculpting in marble three replicas of the vases to decorate the parterre de Latone. Period 20th century
