Beautiful tastevin or XIXth century wine cup in solid silver.
** Silver punch Minerva 1st title
** Max. Length. 8.9 cm / Diameter: 7 cm / Height: 1.5 cm / Weight: 52.57 g
Our model has a repoussé decor with concave and / or convex reliefs with motifs of twisted gadroons, a circular beaded line and lozenges ; the grip formed by a winding of two facing snakes.
It carries at the upper edge the punch of rhombic silversmith (I think, M&E and a different one), accompanied by the silver punch Minerve 1st title (note that the silver punch Minerve and its counter-punch are also struck between the two heads of snakes).
