"Emile Gallé Music Sheet Cabinet"
Cabinet with musical scores from the "art nouveau" period. Rectangular tray in cutouts rounded at the corners. Decor inlaid with native wood species (walnut wire and magnifying glass, oak, thuja magnifying glass, beech wire and magnifying glass ....) depicting a nightingale on a plant background: the songbird symbolizes the music cabinet . Intermediate shelves clad in walnut burl at the top and vertical locker at the bottom. Four butterflies adorn the sides of the furniture. Signed "Gallé" in marquetry in the marquetry. Beginning of the 20th century.
