Pair Of Mariage Vases, Solid Silver, Persia , XIX Century, Perfect

Object of showcase or decoration par excellence, superb and rare pair of silver vases "repoussé" originating in Persia (Iran), XIXth century and in perfect condition.
On each vase, the paunch is decorated with three large medallions decorated with cranes frolicking in interlacing and flowers, accompanied by birds playing in the leaves.
The crane, "symbol of love and fidelity", leads us to think that this splendid pair of vases must have been a wedding gift.
The collar is embellished with a garland of flowers engraved at the hem.
Under each vase, three oriental punches are applied.
This type of vase if finely executed in repoussé is rare in pairs.
