Nice composition in the impressionist vein signed in the lower margin C. [Charles] Perron and dated 1918. It features - in the mordorés gleams of the setting sun - a view of Rouen (?), Paris (?), Nantes (?) From the banks of the Seine or the Loire (?) and is occupied in the foreground by boats. Charles Clément Francis Perron was born in Plessé in 1893 and died in 1958. Student of the School of Fine Arts in Nantes, he was the student of R. Collin, Laurent and L. Roger.
