"Baroque Wardrobe, XVIII In 1740/50"
Baroque cabinet, XVIII in 1740/50 Coronary cabinet with straight faces on the front, finished with a simple richly profiled cornice, closed by two leaves, with four drawers in the lower panel, supported by five feet, spherical with rings at the top. The set is veneered with patterns, inlaid and veined. The facade is divided into two axes with three slightly protruding pilasters in front of the body, surmounted by ornately carved capitals, between which door leaves with oval pseudo-panels, similarly to the sides. The lower panel repeats the outline of the body through the extended pilaster supports and the drawer faces removed. Crown wide lower, in the middle curved and projecting forward, with a small rectangular field surrounded by a profiled slat. The body and the lower crown are decorated with polygonal cushions surrounded by profiled slats. The pillows on the door wings and the drawer fronts are elongated, with a starry outline, door panels inlaid with ribbons and tulips. Four shelves inside.
