"Holy Martyrdom With Palm - Spain XVIIth Century"
Alabaster sculpture, representing a holy martyr, holding a palm and a book. The palm, attribute of the martyr saints, associated with the book, is not explicit enough to be able to affirm the identity of this saint. Many who, associated with these attributes, refer to the early Christian martyrs. Good condition; slight wear on the nose. Spanish work from the first half of the 17th century Height: 18.9 cm.
