Anatolian Moudjour carpet from the 19th century in wool on wool, measuring 105 cm wide by 160 cm long.
Very close to the Kir-Séhir in form and decoration, these magnificent prayer mats with arches with stairs for the Mihrab ending in an arrowhead, are distinguished by powerful and bright colors full of contrasts of plant and animal origins.
These old pieces from Anatolia in Turkey were knotted in mountainous and rough regions.
The staircase shape interprets the mountain, the stylized flowers are elements of happiness and peace.
This piece is in good condition for its great age, and has been professionally and ecologically cleaned.
