The table was made in France in the second half of the 19th century in the Louis XVI style. The wooden structure is entirely veneered and the top, as well as the band under the central and lateral top, lacquered with chinoiserie designs. On the floor is depicted, in black background, a lake landscape, with houses, mountains and lush plants. The underlay bands, always with a black background, have decorations with polychrome foliated and floral motifs. On the front it is equipped with a drawer with rings for the golden bronze opening. All around the floor runs a golden and openwork bronze railing element. Other chiselled and gilded bronze elements decorate the front and side, the origin of the four legs, shaped like an inverted pyramid trunk, and the quadrangular tips.
Of beautiful proportions and elegant line, this coffee table can be inserted in any room of your home, in a room, next to a wall of the study or entrance. It can also be exposed in the bathroom or bedroom depending on your needs. The splendid chromatic interplay of bronze lacquers and gold make it extremely decorative, suitable alongside antique and modern furnishings.
