The infant Jesus pointing to the Virgin with the flowers of passion. Very beautiful old drawing from or attributed to Francesco Trevisani (1656-1746) representing the Virgin and child from the master's painting kept in the Louvre. It is a pencil drawing enhanced with color. Signature lower left Francesco Trevisani Pinx. On the back, there is a sketch of a drawing which has been crossed out, with a signature and a date 1826 and an annotation "line of a drawing commissioned by Mr. Négelen, painter (who did not pay and sold it as from him, and how many others?
