Chromolithographed plate on newsprint, produced by Auguste Grossi, presented in this issue of the Revue monarchiste et progressiste founded in 1873 by the cartoonist Augusto Grossi (1835-1919), which lasted until 1915. Each issue consists of 1 double sheet of which the central pages are occupied by a large and striking chromolithographed caricature. In this issue of the beginning of 1901, we find this caricature of the ploitic relations between different European countries represented on the stage of a circus, the world balance difficult to find being represented by this trapeze artist.
