Marcel Ramond(1935) is a French architect and designer who began to graduate as a technical ingeneer and then continued his studies at the Beaux-Arts school of Saint-Etienne to become an architect in 1967. During his studies he worked with Le Corbusier on the maison Raiduese of Firminy conception and also on the furniture project that not been realized.
In 1968 he created with the artist Jean-Marc Bonnard the FormDesign agency dedicated to design in a large sense : graphism, scenography, etc. They worked on different layout projects such as a hair salon, a bar, a mini golf or decorations for different manifestations. The two partners also developped the first design biennale at Saint-Etienne in 1970 based on industrial and handmade patrimony of the area.
In 1978, the agency is transfered to Paris and realized many furniture layout projects for private and profesional spaces as the Strafort brand. During this Parisian period that last to the end of the 1990’s, Marcel Ramond received many rewards for his work.
