Louis XV period secretary stamped by J. BIRCKLE, inlaid with rosewood in sinuous frames of violet wood. Slightly curved on the front, it opens with a flap trimmed with leather revealing 6 small drawers and lockers, 3 large drawers in the lower part and an ogee drawer under the marble. Simple ornamentation of gilded bronzes, white Carrara marble top. Parisian work
