Her body is partly covered with a large blanket that slips from her shoulders and reveals a breast. Paul Garin was born in Nice in 1898, after a doctorate in law he devoted himself to painting. He died in 1963. He painted landscapes of Provence, ports of the Côte d 'Azur, views of Nice, some still lifes and portraits as well as nudes ... His studio was dispersed in 1998 at the Hôtel Drouot. His works appear in numerous private collections and in the Musée de Nice. Oil on canvas, it bears on the back the stamp of the sale of the workshop in 1998 by Maître Charbonneaux.
