"Douglas James Johnson (1940-1998) Characters And Bulldog"
Superb watercolor by the American artist who lived in Europe, Sri Lanka and Iran then settled in Forcalquier in 1964 where he died in 1998. The work with impressive measurements for a watercolor measures 146 cm by 95 cm, it is framed under glass, signed and dated lower left 1979.
