Pair Of Frames Louis XVI Period

Pair of frames, 31 X 42 cm, 27 X 38 cm at the rebate.
Louis XVIstyle, 1780 period.
This pair of frames should have been originally primed and gilded, but it was stripped with wood, thus revealing the half-mounting on which the carved part is studded. As the photographs show, they are a little disjointed and play in the angles, but will be stiffened by the addition of a glass.
They can be integrated into a modern interior or on the contrary into a mansion by their side "in its original juice".
Perfect for presenting very modern or even contemporary works.
