Beautiful enamel plate with a midnight blue background which seems animated by undulations created by optical effect, a work of great virtuosity.In the center a medallion highlighted by a small frieze in gold powder representing a gallant scene in the style of the 18th century.
Set in an ornate solid silver frame decorated with acanthus leaves.
