Engraving depicting "The Triumph of Faith" work of Peter Paul Rubens. François Ragot 1638 - 1670 Engraver and printmaker. He engraves religious subjects and portraits after Simon Vouet and Lebrun. He is best known for the very remarkable copies he made of the plates by Bolswert, Poutris and Vostermans after the works of Van Dyck and Rubens, copies so exact that they are sometimes mistaken for the original proofs.
