NEVERS, Antoine Montagnon Earthenware fireplace set with polychrome gold enamel decoration on a blue background. It includes a pendulum topped with a putto holding a bird, the white enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, railroad for the minutes, under the dial a decoration painted in reserve of a castle and cherubs by a river , the quadripod base ending in windings. Two earthenware vases mounted in gilt bronze Louis XVI style, mascaron handles, the belly decorated with scenes of cherubs against a backdrop of a landscape in reserve, the gilded bronze base decorated with laurel leaves and four winding feet.
