Cobalt blue and black enamelled ceramic, openwork in the upper part with plant motifs.
This piece was designed by Emile Decoeur (1876 - 1953), a great French ceramist.
Perfect condition, note, two tiny defects of original enameling on the edge of the collar (see photos).

Raoul Lachenal was a French potter. Son of Edmond Lachenal, Raoul Lachenal worked in his father's workshop until 1911, when he opened a new workshop in Boulogne-sur-Seine.
