It opens with a drawer and a flap in the upper part, three drawers in the lower part. The flap discovers an interior with a shelf and two drawers. The rounded amounts are fluted rudentés. Beautiful marquetry work: nets, Greek, musical attributes in a medallion. Rich gilded bronze ornamentation: keyholes, pull handles, offcuts, rings, hooves, asparagus tips and chopsticks. Purple veined pink marble top. High-quality furniture typical of the great Parisian houses of the time. Carries a Gouffé Jeune plaque, Faubourg Saint-Antoine in Paris. Buffer varnished. Around 1880.
