"large Wrought Iron Pot Fork"

"Large wrought iron pot fork" 39.5 X 4 X 3 cm.
Probably forged in the 18th century, this harmoniously curved fork is remarkably shaped. Its dimensions, small hook and curve indicate that it is a pot or pot spoon.
I do not think it is 17th, otherwise one would have thought that it was used to remove the hen from the pot for the Good King Henri ! Well, that's it, a page is turned: after 11 years of occupation, we are leaving our official apartment in Biarritz.
But Nature and I have a horror of emptiness, I let you imagine everything there was inside and the house where we are grouping the move may be large, I will have to separate little by little of a certain number of objects, furniture and paintings…
So, it is the case to say it, they are of an excellent origin !
