Large 19th century alabaster sculpture in neo-Gothic style, representing a pensive young girl, holding in her hands a box surmounted by two small birds. According to a well-known iconography, the girl depicted with birds, probably goldfinches, but the emphasis on the medieval tradition symbol of the Passion. The sculptor but in value the heavy fabrics of the dress with the hollowed out folds, very marked which contributes to give to his work an exceptional physical presence.
