Portrait of a man in a medallion with a straight profile made with Physionotrace. The Physionotrace is an invention of Gilles-Louis Chrétien (1754-1811): engraver and portrait painter, dating from 1785. The whole is kept under a flat glass certified by its entourage in brass with bronze medal patina, in a round wooden frame blackened. The enesmble is in good condition and has undergone a complete cleaning; to report, small accident to the frame (glued) Total dimensions: 11.2 cms Brass dimensions: 8.2 cms Physionotrace dimensions: 6 cms
