Superb pair of large chandeliers or candelabras in Louis XVI style in gilded bronze. Particularly interesting model with a large decorative repertoire in bronze carvings. Tripod base with natural foliage rise towards the fluted shaft carrying three sconces with mascaron heads of bearded men. The sconces are twisted with acanthus leaves. Flowered cups and chiseled binets with piastres. Above the sconces, rare bouquets of flowers are screwed. The extension shaft with a 4th light arm. Beautiful quality of carving and thick and heavy bronze. They are signed below BD bronze and numbered. Napoleon III period circa 1850. Electrically removable assembly, linen colored lampshades.
