Jean Baptiste dit Eugène Corbin is a French entrepreneur born in 1867 and died in 1952, founder of a chain of department stores, he remains known as an amateur artist, designer and patron of the Art Nouveau School in Nancy. Its former home now houses the Musée de l'Ecole de Nancy. This watercolor, in perfect condition (the original frame has some paint scales), is signed lower right and dated 1941. Dimensions of the watercolor 38 x 53 cms and dimensions of the frame 57 x 72 cms
