A set of four French mid-19th century patinated bronze and Yellow Sienna marble candlesticks by Deniere, Paris

Each tri-form column surmounted by a candleholder and foliate drip-pan, the base with scrolling mounts centred by an acanthus leaf, the underside with paper label for Deniere, inscribed "Recompenses a l’Industrie: Medaille d’Or 1823 and Medaille d’Or 1827, Deniere, Rue Vivienne, No 15, Paris"
