This vase-shaped clock is in patinated bronze and gilt bronze, it rests on a square base embellished with a frieze of stylized lotus flowers alternating with palm leaves. The vase rests on a gilded pedestal, the frieze of palms alternating with lanceolate leaves which supports the belly is also gilded. The dial is white enamelled and the hours are written in Arabic numerals. Its rich decoration consists of a garland of vines, masks of fauna. The collar supports lion masks, the mouth wide open, they are inscribed in diamonds which are connected on the front and on the back by two lotus flowers. The cover ends with a seed or a pine cone attached to a rosette made of small leaves. The gilding is original as well as its wire movement.
