Part of a Sèvres porcelain imperial service
From the service offered by the Empress Marie-Louise to the Countess of Bouillé
Set comprising a cup and saucer in the shape Etrusque Denon, and a hard-porcelain sugar pot, with a vert de chrome background, richly decorated in or with fern leaves and stylized patterns, gold rims.
Very good condition, slight oxidation of the gold.
Sèvres Imperial Factory, 1810.
Red stamp marks and gilder mark.
Sugar bowl: H. 12 cm. Cup & saucer: H. 5 x D. 14 cm.

Provenance
These pieces come from the déjeuner "Green chrome background, fern frieze in gold", entered in the Sèvres sales store on December 28, 1810 (Arch. Sèvres, Vu1, fol. 104 v °) and composed of 4 pieces for one person (the Pestum cream jug and the teapot are missing), for a total cost of 185 frs. It was delivered on December 31st, 1810 to the Empress and Queen (Marie-Louise) to serve as a present on the occasion of New Year's Day 1811, offered to Countess Bouillé, lady of the palace of the Empress Marie-Louise. Mention is also made of a plateau, possibly added (Vbb2, fol. 125).

History
Marie Robertine Anne Hélène Joséphine WALSH de SERRANT (1775, Château de Chevigné-1825), known as Mademoiselle de Serrant-Walsh, married on April 3, 1798 to Louis Joseph Amour de Bouillé du Chariol, Count then Marquis de Bouillé (1769, Basse-Terre in Guadeloupe-1850, Paris), French general.
