"Saupoudroir Louis XV, Liège 1764, Guillaume Gaspard Velez, Sterling Silver"
Very elegant Louis XV sugar caster in sterling silver. Hallmarks of the city of Liège for the year 1764 and of the famous goldsmith Guillaume Gaspard Velez. The body is entirely twisted and the cover has fine openings accompanied by engravings. At,the Top of the lid is a strawberry and its foliage which still shows traces of vermeil. At the bottom of the foot are the four clearly legible regulatory hallmarks and the "striche". Weight 200 grams.
