Rare rectangular console in mahogany and mahogany veneer, the front uprights in sheath adorned with busts of caryatids and small lacquered wooden feet, the rear uprights in trapezoidal pilaster. White Carrara marble top embedded in the top surrounded by a flat gilt bronze gallery. Plinth base in wire mahogany veneers and flamed mahogany separated by brass and boxwood threads, brass molding on wood frame. Beautiful ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes. Parisian work from the Empire period. Very good condition, buffered varnish.
