A French Barbotine Palissy- style earthenware Majolica glazed oyster plate attributed to Thomas Sergent (Circa 1880)
A star shaped plate showing six fish heads surrounding a cream center sauce well. Six additional fish heads are seen on the end of each arm of the star. A blue- gray, swirled textured ground bordered in cream, diameter: 11 ½ inches
A rare pristine Palissy ware earth tone colored multi-dimensional fish head bivalve plate made in France. Featured in the Jeffrey B. Snyder reference book ‘’Collecting Oyster Plates’’
