This fabulous and rare Louis XV style bureau à gradin, upper structure of kidney-shape form surmounted an elegant white enamel dial clock, above six drawers flanking an open compartment.The desk decorated on all sides with magnificent marquetry, gilt tooled brown leather writing surface above three frieze drawers. Fabolous double gilded bronze candelabra on the sides. Its heavily decorated with high quality bronze fittings. Signed on the clock movement - Balthazard a Paris. The back is also decorated with floral, gilded brozne application. One of a kind, museum quality desk.
