Object description :

"Mysterious Clock 19th Century 70 Cm"
Extremely rare French mistery clock, made in the second half of the 19th century, 1870-1880. The clock consists of two unconnected parts - the figure of Diana, holding a heavy, perfectly balanced pendulum, and the base in which the mechanism is located. The figure, after setting the pendulum in motion, is made to sway, invisible to the human eye. Due to the rotating ring on which the figure rests, these movements are further transmitted to the connected pin and mechanism. The principle of operation of the clock is based on the laws of physics and the ideal setting and balance of the pendulum and figure.

This clock is extremely rare at world auctions, single items can be found every few years. It is truly unique and should be found in the collection of every true clock collector.

Dimensions:
height - 70 cm
figure height - 42 cm
base dimensions - 27 x 31 x 22 cm
