VERY RARE prototype of an armchair in black lacquered wood.
Signed under the base.
Dimensions:
Height: 72.5 cm.
Width: 60 cm max.
Depth: 46.2 cm max.
Removable cake.
IN VERY GOOD CONDITION OF USE, some jumps of black lacquer (visible on photos).
History: This prototype was designed by Pierre CARDIN for the MAXIM'S restaurant in Manhattan around 1990/1995. 3 prototypes were made (by Ets BERNARD in Aix les Bains): black, red and green, with slightly different shapes.
