Afternoon Impressions / David Girin
Artist: David-eugène Girin 1848/1917
Born with the end of the July monarchy and died with the first war, Daniel GIRIN, painter from Lyon adhered to the artistic movements of his time. Dabbling in various registers, he nevertheless excels in the warm impressionist style of the work that we present; Oil on very strong cardboard, late nineteenth, with a frame of the time, not original, and very high quality. Certainly a vaporous landscape of the Dombes for this outdoor exercise. Size at sight 22x29 cm.
