Fixed under glass. Superb souvenir of Paris from the mid-19th century. Carved metal basket decorated with twisted and coiled threads which frame nine painted miniatures fixed under glass with the addition of mother-of-pearl burgau. These nine miniatures represent the main monuments of Paris. The largest measures around 11.5 cm X 9.2 cm, and the eight small ones measure around 2.7 cm in diameter. France, around 1860.
