Salon Table Stamped François Linke

François Linke (1855 - 1946)

Sublime Louis XV style living room table in rosewood vene with four very elegantly curved legs and adorned with gilded bronzes such as scraps, groin moldings and clog feet. The top surrounded by a gilded bronze ingot mold and with turbulent shapes presents a magnificent quartefeuille marquetry decoration and in its center a large medallion with a hanging and flowery basket, all superbly executed thanks to many species of exotic woods, some of which are tinted.

Rich ornamentation of gilded bronze and chiseled to perfection. Stamped François Linke: Linke engraved on a fall (see photo 12), inside of the lock engraved with the seal of the house Linke, certain bronzes engraved FL (photos available on request).

Perfect condition, restored to its original condition by our workshop: cleaning of the bronzes (original gilding), application of a natural varnish with a pad using traditional methods (supports previously cleaned and sanded for the application with a new varnish pad and remove all traces of use or any other imperfection).
