L. DUCOURANT: OIL ON CANVAS OF A RUSSIAN EXPEDITIONARY CORPSE OFFICER, First World War. Oil on canvas with an officer "Mr. Major K ....", name marked in pencil on the back of the wooden frame, barely visible. The officer here wears the model 1907 cap, with its khaki canvas camouflage fabric called "Khaki Ferashka" as well as the thick cloth coat also used in the troop, without collar tabs or shoulder tabs.
