"Royal Dux Large Art Nouveau Cup 1900"
Very large naturalistic-shaped bowl from the Art Nouveau period circa 1900 signed by the triangle mark of the famous Royal Dux manufacture (note a monogrammed artist's stamp located in the decor, to identify) Imposing enamelled porcelain structure partially enhanced with gold depicting two nymphs perched on a shell placed on a rocky mound adorned with arums. Excellent original condition, dimensions: 54 cm high X 37 cm wide X 27 cm deep. The Royal Dux porcelain factory was founded in Austria in 1860 by Ed Eichler. She was specialized in the production of subjects of Art Nouveau spirit: representing various themes and ornaments such as plant decorations, feminine subjects, or subjects of orientalist inspiration. The Royal Dux manufacture was very famous in France at the beginning of the 20th century.
