Forged tank, taken again in the lathe. Lid richly decorated with repoussé on a matt background with a closed crown flanked by two hearts, 3 gadroons emblazoned with diamond, checkerboard, alérions and an anchored cross. Molded socket in molten brass, extended by a short turned wood handle. Total length: 84.5 cm. Diameter: 28.5 cm. 18th century. Very good condition. Discreet catering at the rolled edge of the tank.
