"1837- Trumeau By The Cabinetmakers Guild Of Copenhagen Mahogany Between Two Danes"
Rare Danish trumeau dated 1837; it can easily be associated with painted or gilded furniture for example. The tin of the mirror is studded with "spider web" type wear (not necessarily annoying, on the contrary). In any case, it could be changed. This decorative element has an elegance, all Scandinavian. The stamp and label on the back of the pine wood floor refer to the "Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild", a centuries-old organization of Danish cabinetmakers and cabinet makers.
