Louis XVI Pendulum Au Putti

Very beautiful gilt bronze clock from the Louis XVI period. This represents a putti holding in his right hand a drum stick and the left hand is placed on the dial of the clock making the drum. Note a very beautiful original gilding. In addition, great care has been taken in the sculpture above the frame where you can see: ribboned knot, acorns and oak leaves. In addition, above the molded white marble plinth are inscribed with sculpted gilt bronze friezes. Note, the movement is original and wire. We have the winding key, but the clock is not working.
