Red copper plate decorated with a Viçva - Vajra under its base. This piece topped with a so-called "Chandra" motif representing a crescent moon capped with a full moon and two turquoise and coral pearls. This motif sometimes accompanies the deities of the Mahayana. It is the symbol of the path towards Awakening. Base decorated with lotus and snow lion motifs on all four sides. The bulb is adorned around its periphery with three figures of mythical monsters with a finely worked feline appearance, decorated with a frontal reliquary containing a divine representation (white Tara?)
Painted on cotton canvas, a mantra or a prayer is present on the back of this polychrome figure. This stupa, here of small size, is the recurring representation of a Buddhist temple in the religious architecture of the same name. It is represented in different forms according to the countries attached to the Buddhist tradition.
