Pendulum in chiseled, gilded and amati bronze representing Louis XIV as Roman Emperor, armor and sword in hand, white dial terminal with Roman numerals, surmounted by a helmet and laurel wreath. Rectangular base with oval medallion representing a battle scene with Louis XIV on his horse, surrounded by two applied warrior attributes. This clock is supported by 4 flattened spindle feet. Wire movement revised by our watchmaker with its balance and winding key. This clock has retained all its original gilding with some friction and stains, presence of a defect on the hand of Louis XIV carrying the Glaive. 1st Empire period clock.Dimensions: Height: 46 cm - Front width: 54.5 cm - Depth: 11.5 cm
