Nice authentic print on vintage laid paper (see photo in transparency) with a beautiful bite of the plate.
Very deep black with many shades in the intensity of gray.
It has a legend in the lower part:
Endymion, een Schoone Veehoeder, wierd van Jupiter inden hemel opgenomen. Doch aldaar Juno aansoekende
is hy weder op het aardryk gesmeeten en op Latmus (een berg in Carie) met een Langduirige Slaap gestraft.
Naderhand is Diane, op hem verliefd geworden: om dat hy een groot liefhebber der Sterrekunde besonderlyk de loop Des

This engraving is in very good condition, without any annoying stain, demarcation or alteration.
Just to point out paper residue from an old collage for assembly which forms extra thicknesses at the back in the four corners.
Naturally, the visual is very good, better than the photos which may suggest that there are spots or demarcations which in reality are not visible to the eye. Take a good look at the pictures please!
