"Gueridon Return From Egypt, Empire Period"
Beautiful pedestal table from the Empire period and in the Return of Egypt style with three sheathed feet surmounted by bronze caryatids, beautiful marble top in a bowl. The three feet join a lower part forming a triangular spacer with sides curved inward. The whole being finished with three feet forming lion paste in black stuccoed carved wood. Mahogany and mahogany veneer for the frame.This pedestal table in good condition as a house could go into a cabinet-making workshop to return it to its original state (some chips of veneer, wear to the lion's paste and slight chipping on the corners of the marble and the original finish which had to be varnished with a buffer).
