Pair of decorative panels, which can form door tops in piers, paint, gouache and gilding on cardboard placed on canvas stretched on a stretcher with keys. Carved and gilded wooden frame. inside 159 X 36 cm, outside 165 X 42 cm. Dated 1929 and signed Georges RITLENG born in Strasbourg on December 6, 1875 and died at Mont Saint Odile on May 5, 1972. He studied painting in turn in Strasbourg from 1892 to 1897, in Paris (Académie Julian) from 1899 to 1901, in Munich from 1903 to 1908; meanwhile, he exhibits flowers and vigorous landscapes in their naturalism, with great play of shadows and light.
