French hammer work by Georges Lecomte from the 1920s to 1930s stamped with the neck brace on the base and on the vase.
The whole is in two separate parts: the base and the vase.
A threaded rod below the vase allows assembly to the base, held by a nut.
A counterweight in the metal base balances the whole.
An old bronze restoration was carried out on the vase (see photo). Georges Réné Lecomte, silversmith and copper maker, worked mainly for the houses "Risler et Carré", "Keller", and "Fouquet Lapar".
