Beautiful and large work of the painter René Seyssaud which represents a landscape animated by peacocks under oaks at Font-Ségugne in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne (Vaucluse). The artist creates a composition with the serif of matter, contrasts and play of light. Our work was produced around 1915.
We can compare our work with another painting by the artist "Nudes under the oaks at Font-Ségugne" (Toulouse-Lautrec Museum in Albi) which represents this same place. This other canvas is currently visible, until January 17, 2020 , in the exhibition "René Seyssaud, exalted colors" at the Museum of Fine Arts in Nîmes.
